Fender Pro Amp 1960 Brownface VINTAGE! Reduced! in Cherry Hill, New Jersey For Sale

This xxxx Pro Amp is - to the best of my knowledge, 100% original. It is in amazing shape for its age and the sound is truly fantastic. Pete Townshend used a Fender Pro ?head? in xxxx and xxxx on stage and in the studio.
Incredible for guitar and bass (a serious alternative to a b-15 for bass recording). It has Presence control, and the incomparable brownface warbly tube vibrato channel. Original vibrato footswitch is included and there is a factory installed jack for an extension speaker on the rear panel.
The speaker is the original Jensen P15N, #xxxx50 - Jensen (220) speaker made in the 50th week of xxxx (850), in very good condition, excellent sound. P = "Permanent" magnet, Alnico V.

N = The suffix code letter identifies the quality of the speaker. N= Concert series: Best for guitar amps.
Tube Chart indicates 50's design (5G5) but with June xxxx (JF) production stamp. See the tube chart indicates 5 preamp tubes. The electronics are clean with no evidence of leaky caps or heat issues and the xxxx3 power transformer is era-correct, as are the original Astron caps.
The cover is the rare ?early? brown Tolex and the grillcloth is the equally rare woven brown & gold. Both are in very good condition with no rips or tears. The grillcloth has some minor discoloration due to age and this is very common with vintage brown Fenders.
The chassis serial # is xxxx7. Serials xxxx1 to xxxx0 = xxxx.
This amp is a must-have for any collector but is gig ready, although I would have the power cord replaced with a grounded (three prong) one before taking it on the road, to protect the vintage circuitry.
